A "study in printing ink" dedicated to typographer and author Arthur C. Gruver and hand signed "Shertzer"(?). A probably one of kind a hand made book with elaborate red and green decorative swag borders and color initial capital. "Not only not copyrighted but we dare anyone to copy it" printed on the copyright page. A whimsical "letter to Santa Claus" apparently printed by one of Gruver's colleagues as a special Christmas gift, it is a fine professional and artistic work. The decorated silf on the boards is hand silk screened in brown and red. The original dust wrapper of tissue has a couple of closed tears but is remarkably still in excellent condition.
