Salt Lake City, Utah, December 26, 1935. Cards. Cream illustrated cards. Very good. Dinner menu for the day after Christmas. The Empire Dining Room was lavishly decorated and hosted the privileged class throughout the years it was open. This particular menu includes an added specials menu entitled: Southern Style Mammy's Dinner - $1.25 Per Plate. Highlights on this menu include Fried Perch in Corn Meal, Smothered Spring Chicken - Southern Style with Hominy Fritters, Buttermilk Biscuits, Old Plantation Corn Bread, and a huge array of desserts. Some light offset from the paper clip, otherwise clean.
