Firmiger as the editor. They published Bengal Past & Present, a quarterly periodical in the same year and it remained in print until 2012. Although it began as a British Colonial nostalgic look at Calcutta, it eventually evolved into a serious scholarly work with submissions from leading historians and politicians of the day.
