London: Geoffrey Bles, 1925. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Philip Simmonds. First edition of this Hubin listed work from Vance, the creator of the popular character, "The Lone Wolf." Very good in publisher's green boards which show little wear in quite scarce jacket with striking illustration by Philip Simmonds, of a man walking and holding his hat down through a lightning storm against a barren landscape.
