This is a perfect book to teach youngsters about the partnership between history and archaeology. Great book for home schooling. PROBLEM: School name is stamped (small) on top of title page. Also there it appears it may have had a checkout card at one time. Better than it sounds. CONTENT: The history of the Greek land hidden inside the belly of a hill which was formed by 8000 years of life and adventure. . . The aim of this book is not so much to bring history to life as much as it is to show how history was created. the story, although imaginative, could very well be true. Enjoy the journey through time and history.

The book has problems, but IS unread and the interior is clean and tight. The problem is with the corners and edges of the boards (see or send for the scans) and with the dust jacket which has extreme edge wear top and bottom spine and at corners and is covered in mylar cover to prevent further erosion. I have done some small cosmetic work on the bottom edges of the boards, but it's strictly cosmetic and the corners are frayed. Questions encouraged and answered. Then Kurt Vonnegut wrote words to fit the images he saw. This is a song then, whose music came first. A simple hymn for printing press.
