The art journal XXe Siecle - Chroniques du Jour was created and published by the versatile Gualtiero di San Lazzaro, journalist, art critique, art dealer. Between 1938 and 1939 San Lazzaro only published 6 issues of the magazine, of which the last is a double number (Vol: 1-2-3-4-5/6). After the War, in 1951 the publications resumed as XXe Siècle - Nouvelle Série.
