UNCLE HANSI'S WWI PATRIOTIC TRIBUTE TO ALSACE & FRANCE - A BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED HISTORICAL VOLUME FOR CHILDRENHere is one of France's Sumptuously Designed Historical Volumes for Children. Each of the 100 pages have beautiful color illustrations - full page or smaller color illus designed within the text by Hansi & Huen. Folio size with red edges- with decorated eps of flying birds in shades of gray & white. The front inner hinge is cracked but tight, a vertical newspaper clipping (2 1/2" x 4 1/2") has been pasted onto the center of the inside front cover's ep - dated Feb 15, 1915. Endpaper bottom edge has 3 neatly repaired closed tears, and very slight loss at the bottom corner of 1st few pages. Spine tips and corner rub, gilt on cover dulled - still a very good copy. Uncommon. May need extra postage depending upon destination or weight
