And he has signed in pencil the six etchings that he produced for the book. Very good with light soiling and minor edgewear to boards, in a very good plain gray dustwrapper. This is apparently Part 13 out of 13 volumes in the set. Very scarce.

An excellent copy of a title rarely found in collectible condition. Hugh Walters was a British writer of juvenile science fiction novels, mostly dealing with exploration of other planets in our solar system. His novels have a scientific foundation, anticipating such advances as ion engines.

A beautiful copy of Washington's follow-up to his classic "Up From Slavery.

Laid in is a letter from the author to Fowles, thanking him for his kind letter and discussing a meeting she had with him in Athens. The Greek resistance fighters in World War II play a major role in Fowles' magnum opus "The Magus.

Wertham was a well-respected progressive psychiatrist who treated poor black patients at his Harlem-based Lafargue Clinic when mental health services for people of color were uncommon.
