He originally planned to print seventy - six sets of the etchings . However , it seems unlikely that he reached this number. In 1943 he put the etchings together in this volume --beautifully designed and printed . This is a unique interpretation of Lincoln and one that every collector of Lincolniana should have in the library . This isy good copy . The interior is clean , no marks except for the name of a previous owner on the first free endpaper . The hinges on the large volume are tight . All material is present , no etchings have been removed . The dust jacket shows light wear and toning to the edges but remains bright and clean . Dust jacket is protected with a mylar cover .

Wallaces' Farmer, 1905. Hardcover. Good. Volume XXX , No. 1 - 31 ( Jan. 6 through Aug. 4 , 1905 ) , 33 , 34 , Index for 1905 . No. 1 - 31 are bound in a sturdy binding with heavy cloth boards. Nos. 33 , 34 , and the Index are laid in at the back of the volume. Overall , the material is in very good shape. There are a few small chips and tears but the binding has protected the material very well over the years. Nos. 33 and 34 show tears at the bottom with some material missing , damage probably resulting from them not being in the bound material. The boards and spine now show wear and soil but the hinges are tight. This is a great wealth of social , economic , agricultural , and advertising material for 1905. Wonderful drawings and photographs , especially of livestock. The extensive articles and essays are exceedingly well done overall , providing a gold mine of information and analysis.
