Bound in uniform tan polished calf, gilt rules, with six-panel spines tooled in gilt and leather labels. Binding generally quite good, with variations in color and some marks, but leather labels are chipped with loss on volumes 1 and 4, and spine ends are shelf-worn. Upper board of volume 4 bumped. Early armorial bookplate. Text bright and clean.

[Amsterdam]: [Stedelijk Museum], 1977. 28 cm; 72 pages, chiefly illustrations. Publisher's announcement of "The Next Call" laid in. Original printed wraps. Some slight discoloration to covers, and small bump at base of top cover, but overall unblemished and very good. Catalogue of prints by H.N. Werkman (1882-1945), an experimental Dutch artist, typographer and printer. He set up a clandestine printing house during the Nazi occupation (1940–45) and was shot by the Gestapo in the closing days of the war.
