This undated printing, publisher's stock number 9808, was probably produced and bound in the mid-1920's. 272 pages, with [Preface] by Richard Sternfeld, and an engraving of the summer season's Auffuhrungen program of the Buhnenfestspielhaus Bayreuth "fur die Mitgleider des Patronat-Vereins". Boards are splittting at rear upper backstrip, otherwise sound; bookplate of prior owner on front pastedown; bookseller stamp (Franz Tafel), and purchase data in prior owner's hand (Karlsruhe 1926) on title page; text is strong, but browning to margins and lightly coloring throughout; text also carries penciled key and tempi notations on about 6 pages.

Many of the photos are by park ranger John J. Wagoner, who wrote both text and photo captions; captions are in short 3-line verse, akin to Japanese Haiku.
