The Greek text appears in the upper part of the page, the latin translation by Johannes Leunclavius [ 1533 - 1593 ] below. Simpson used the earlier editions of Johann August Ernesti & Aemilius Portus as reference.

Cyrus is killed and Xenophon takes charge of the army. He leads his 10000 men through Persia to the Black Sea. This translation by Rex Warner.

No copies on COPAC or at the British Library The Anabasis contains Xenophon's account of his own & Cyrus' campaign to dethrone Cyrus' brother, Artaxerxes. When Cyrus is killed Xenophon takes over command of the Greek troops & leads them across Persia.
