1930. Forty-two 7 x 9 inch black and white photographs with Russian photographic text and descriptive text in French mounted on versos. Includes images of the great Communist leaders past and present, and their written works with many quoting either Lenin or Engels. Most cite the earlier days of the proletarian efforts by Lopatine, Lavrov, Vera Zassoulitch, Arnold Ruge, the 1864 London meeting of the First International, the Paris Commune rising in 1871, Marx's expulsion from Germany in 1849, Cologne trial of Communists in 1852, Karl Marx's graduation certificate from college, the Paris insurrection of 1848, suspension of "la Gazette Rhenane," in Cologne (1849) a joint effort by Marx and Engels, et al. A few corners chipped or creased. Very good.
