Type: Z A set of 15 volumes, comprising of the magazine British European Airways bound in red volumes. Starts at Volume 1, No 1 - christmas 1946 and is a complete run through to December 1962. Each volume contains 10 magazines bound with their front covers and all contemporary advertisements. Bound uniformly in red boards with the first 4 volumes being a lighter shade of red and with B.E.A. Magazine embossed in gilt to the spines - the other volumes having B.E.A. Magazine and also the year embossed onto the spines. Numerous b/w photographic images throughout illustrate the magazines. Light fading to the spines of the first four volumes and the head and tail of a few spines have been bumped. A slight crease to the top of the card covers and to the lower corner of the rear card cover. Some pencil notation to the top corner of the first page, which will rub out. Colour maps are very fresh. A very good copy.

This is a book provided to air crews for orientation on the new refurbished 747's for 1987. Diagrams and colour photographic plates with keys on each page. A few soil marks to the rear card cover and light soiling to the front card cover. Name inscription to the reverse of the front card cover. There is slight bowing to the booklet from the head, with a little bump to the head of the spine. Soiling to the lower edge of the last page - pp30 of the book. The other pages remain clean. A tightly bound manual, in very good conditon.
