The author was a staff writer for the Festival at the time, and explains many aspects of the background work put into this successful season, when Coriolanus, Henry VIII, and Love's Labour's Lost were produced. The star of the season was award winning actor Paul Scofield. The book includes 6 double sided black and white photographic plates. Flat signed by the author on the title page. .

Largely consisting of hamlets, the township is now part of the township of Stirling-Rawdon. The village of Stirling won the Kraft Hockeyville competition in 2012. This book was published as the result of a group of students who received a Young Canada Works grant to undertake the research and writing of the book. A scarce copy. .
