Each issue has compilation CD in sleeve attached to cover. Stitched, printed paper wrappers. Small tear to base of spine of issue #4, else nearly fine. Two consecutive issues of this nonprofit journal of revolutionary culture and musical commentary.  Each issue contained a compilation cd of music and spoken word, generally focused on spirituality and revolution.  The magazine was published by the Revolution Center and funded by the Woodcrest Bruderhof community, giving the publication an interesting mix of roots both in the far-left radical movement and the Anabaptist communitarian traditions.   Very scarce in commerce.  OCLC locates 3 possible holdings.

Final work from Stephen Herbert Langdon (1876-1937), the American-born Assyriologist who later became a British citizen and professor at Oxford.  Part of the Schweich Lectures on Biblical Archaeology series from the British Academy, of which Langdon was a fellow.  Uncommon in jacket.  .

Beautiful art deco trade catalog from the Century of Progress International Exposition of 1933.  This booklet also celbrated Ahlberg's 25th anniversary in business.  Designed and printed by Poole Bros. Inc., Chicago. OCLC cites two holdings at Johns Hopkins and the Canadian Centre for Architecture.

Edinburgh: Oliver & Boyd, 1938. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. 8vo, 314 pp. Follow-up to "The Private Papers of a Bankrupt Bookseller," from 1931, and along with this title, published anonymously. Sir William Young Darling was a member of the British Parliament and director of the Royal Bank of Scotland. He also authored several books both anonymously and under his own name including a book of poems, an autobiographical work, and a few novels. Very good in publisher's green cloth with darkening to spine and paper spine label. Rubbing to corners of boards and along joints. Internally, clean and sound with some toning to end papers and an extra paper spine label tipped in at the bottom of the final page of text. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.

Boston: Michael Baran, 1985. First edition. 4to, [50]p. Illustrations. Stapled sheets in very good condition with some toning and light wear. Inscribed by Anteski to the former owner, and a TLS from him to same is laid in. Interesting set of theoretical works from medical doctor and metaphysical and paranormal researcher, Michael Anteski, writing as Michael Baran.  Includes "A Simple Conceptual Model of Gravitation and Energy Fields;" "A Particle-Energy Model for the Kirlian Phantom-Leaf Effect and Spontaneous Human Combustion;" and "A Theoretic Model for Psychotronics and Time."  The letter notes that this is the first signed copy of this publication that has been ordered and Anteski finds it "a little encouraging."   We find a few other works by Anteski writing as Baran listed in OCLC, but unsurprisingly, this one is not to be found.  .
