Book is in very nice shape...BUT...for some reason, a previous owner decided to test their new hole puncher on the cover of this book, so there is a hole punch on George Segal's elbow - which drops it to VG.

VG+. 1931 BoniBooks. Softcover. Large (5" X 7.5") paperback edition in very nice shape. Uncommon edition of title originally released in 1913.

VG - VG+. 1968 Pan Books, first printing. Softcover. Prior to 'The Andromeda Strain' in 1969, Michael Crichton only wrote under assumed names. His book 'A Case of Need', under the name Jeffrey Hudson, was the basis for the Blake Edwards film 'The Carey Treatment', starring James Coburn and Jennifer O'Neill . One small corner crease + spine crease.

VG / VG. 1979 Harper & Row, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Signed by Johnny Bench, the greatest Catcher in the history of baseball - in our not so humble opinion. Book is in nice shape. Jacket has some edge wear / chips to top edge. Co-written by William Brashler, who also penned 'Bingo Long and the Traveling All-Stars'.

VG+ / VG. 1940 Harcourt, Brace, first edition / second printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. Tunis set the standard for Young Adult Sports Novels in the 40's and 50's. This is a lovely copy of one of his early works, and one of few by any author to focus on tennis.great shape - with just a bit of edge wear to the jacket.

Near Fine. 2016 Petty Curse, first edition - Hardcover. Signed by Paul Madonna on rear end pages. Madonna is a well known illustrator in the Bay Area - his panel drawings "All Over Coffee" ran for many years in the San Francisco Chronicle.

VG+. 1955 Bantam F1337, first printing. softcover. Who doesn't enjoy a novel about a psychiatrist with a 1950's mentality? Alfred Hitchcock seemed to love them all. I'm generalizing - not reviewing 'The Cobweb', as I have not read it. Book is in nice overall condition, with slight wear here and there.

VG+ / VG 1937 Doubleday, first edition / early printing (we believe the first print was 1936). Previous owner name on FFEP. Jacket has normal wear becoming an 83 year old piece of paper. We've been chuckling over the rear cover and rear flap, which are both devoted entirely to Sinclair Lewis -- including a full length photo of Lewis where you would expect to see a photo of the author who wrote the book in your hand.
