Thriller from the wartime SOE (Special Ooerations Executive) agent.

Chapbook (stapled), 22 x 14 cm, pp. 10 , umbrella design on cover and above text on first page, essay on writing with examples of Dawson's editing at rear. In Fine condition. Fielding Dawson (1930-2002) was an important member of both the Beat Generation and of the Black Mountain Poets.

Book is in poor condition, but complete - outer pages have tape repair, some chipping and clsoed tears - image and score intact. Important scarce item from the days of minstrelsy.

Newspaper section 8A pamphlet in the form of a "Make-It Yourself Book" supplement, 16-page booklet folded from 2 newsprint sheets (quarto), 10.5 x 7.3 in. In Very Good condition, light page toning, clean pages (uncut and unmarked), some separation along perforations where internal folds meet, color drawings are bright. Presented in mylar sleeve with cardboard backing to ensure it arrives undamaged. Written and illustrated by Becky. Section 8A was a Sunday supplement appealing to children's creativity in addition to telling charming stories. Last page has challenge for young readers: "If you go back thru this book you will find on each rainy page 3 spots that washed off Doughnut. See if you can find all 21 hidden spots."

Near Fine condition - light bumps on bottom corners. A fascinating insight into the quest to assemble Stradivarius's master instruments.
