Book is in Dutch. The translation of the title is The sacrificial hall of the Lode Boninge and Frans Van der Linden It was printed June 1934. Three thousand copies were printed . The author was a stretcher-bearer in the Dutch forces in WW1 and wrote this account of his war under the pseudonym een Frontmakker Front Buddy
It is condidered to be rare and I offer my copy well below market price because I have little access to a market for Dutch books and my Dutch has withered over the years.

Startlingly nice condition for this book-by far the best any of my fellow collectorts have seen. All colour plates present. 108 p. Tipped in between cover and fep is the following "We send them today as a gift from our Chairman his recently published translation of the war the old badgers." This is a very well known throughout Japan and especially in Shikoku folk tradition that has been yet translated into any other foreign language. German Society for Nature and Ethnology of East Asia. Tokyo, Juni 1932. Evidently an early copy of the book The book is unmarked (not even bumped) and it even has a good or good-plus dust jacket that has just minor edge defects. See scan
