It's a vintage thrillerin which a world-famous novelist (who is secretly a spy) meets an infamous lady spy, and ... It's little wonder that E. Phillips Oppenheim and Graham Greene put paid to this genre of espionage novel, if only on the grounds of credibility. 314 pages. DJ is rubbed, chipped, torn and shows losses; boards and text are clean, and respectively sound and strong.
