Good. - Quarto [approximately 11 inches high by 8-3/4 inches wide], softcover bound in printed wrappers with a black-and-white vignette on each cover. The binding is bumped & soiled with some light creasing & chipping to the edges of the wraps & a few tiny ink stains to the front wrap. There is some foxing to the spine & to the front wrap at the tail of the spine. 28 pages of text plus a large section of advertisements with paper samples & examples of graphic design by association members. The last few paper samples are detached. Good. <p>This issue contains an article on the Adagio Press by Leonard F. Bahr. Bahr [1934-1992]founded the press in 1956, working out of his home in Harper Woods, Michigan and specializing in fine and limited editions. He worked as an advertising typographer with George Willens and Company in Detroit for thirty-four years, retiring in 1991.

The slipcase is rubbed and soiled with short tears to the edges. 74 & [1] pages, illustrated with a tipped-in portrait frontispiece by Halsman and 27 tipped-in color plates of Dali's jewelry with descriptive text on the facing page. The plate opposite page 52 is torn and creased along its right edge. Good. <p>Inscribed and signed on the front endpaper by Owen Cheatham, the owner of the collection.<p>Laid in with the book is the 12-page exhibition catalog with a descriptive index of the jewels. The 8-1/2 inch high by 5- 1/2 inch wide catalog is bound in gilt-titled white wraps with a yellow silk cord at the spine.
