Illustrated with twelve handsome portraits of churchmen, engraved by J. Cochran, two other full-page illustrations of church buildings in Madagascar and India, map of Samoa or Navigators Islands, South Pacific Ocean and map of Western Polynesia, New Caledonia, Loyalty Is. etc., South Pacific Ocean. There is, in fact, much substantial content on the missionary activities of the Societys representatives in the South Seas, including on the missionary Ship John Williams. Mispaginated after p. 606, but all present and complete. Head and foot of spine, external hinges, and corners and edges of boards rubbed and in small part worn; scattered light foxing and marginal stains; otherwise a very good if not near fine copy.
