Overall 24 x 22 inches.Some damage associated with age and moisture, would benefit from modest restoration. From a Portfolio of Six Paintings by Ancel Nunn with a foreword by A.C. Greene. Sticker on back reflects it has once been in the collection of the First City National Bank of Austin and was framed by the Country Store in Austin, Texas. Fischer's is in Comal County on the Devil's Backbone and home to an annual music festival. Fischer Dance Hall was built in 1895 and continues to be operated by descendants of the original family who built it. Like many of the community halls that were built in Texas during this period Fischer Dance Hall was the social and civic center of the town. The interior of the hall is amazing with beautiful old hand-hewn beams and rafters.
