The tail of the spine a little bumped with a slight crease to the tail of the wrapper. A 1.3cm short tear to the tail of the rear panel of the wrapper - now expertly repaired and not very noticable. A lovely copy.

Gilt embossed herald to the front board and gilt embossed lettering to the spine. B/w photographic plates of the porcelain with explanatory text on the opposing pages. Some slight rubbing to the periphey of the boards and to the spine, with no loss of lettering. Light bump to one corner and to the head and tail of the spine. The pages are clean, with the slightest hint of normal age toning to the periphery of the pages. The book is protected in the original transparant plastic dust wrapper. A very good copy of this limited edition.

The jacket has not been price-clipped; it has 2 short tears with some associated light creasing to the tail of the rear panel - the largest tear being 2.7cm in length. A compliments slip has been stapled to the head of the front endpaper from Dr. Bhup Bhardwaj of the Icarda/Ifad nile valley project on Faba beans. The staple has left slight rust marks to the front paste-down and to the half title page and of course, if it was removed, there would two tiny holes to this page. A bump to the head of the spine with some light rubbing and a light bump to the tail of the spine. Several slight bumps to the front board.
