We believe this is a first edition. There is no date on the publication page. Book is in "as new" condition. It is an elegant book: ivory linen like cloth over boards and gold trim over the map of Italy on the front and lettering and designs on the spine. Numerous maps (12) and photos of the regions of Italy as well as drawing by Warren Chappell..

1936 edition of the 1921classic. The book is in near fine condition with green covers with gilt decoration. Very light shelf wear Bookplate on top edge of first fly-leaf page. Pages and the beautiful illustrations are complete and like new. A very handsome book.. Dulac was a well known naturalist and artist who produced this book after World War I of children's stories and fairy tales of which the proceeds went to the French Red Cross

Both book and dj are in excellent, virtually new, condition. The only flaw we could find is a barely noticeable scratch on the inside of the front cover (see photo). Includes a brief biographical note and CD, which appears to be unused. Full signature and inscription on title page.

Endpapers, and title page have light age toning, light soiling, library stamps, and the first and last end papers have sever shadowing at edge (first end paper) and a library pouch (last end paper). Slight tear 9about 1/2') at top of preface page. Edges and spine of cover has been covered with black tape. See photos.

Hundreds of high quality illustrations, many in color and many full page. Only apparent fault in the book is the gift dedication at the top of the first fly-leaf page The dj has smudging at the top of the front and very a very slight wear at the top flront corner.

Othwerwise there are no flaws.

The book is in new conditon. The Dj has a small price sticker affixed to the inside front flap and some very slight wrinkling along the top and bottom edges> It has 151 illustrations in color.

German book provides 20 full page color reproductions of Miro prints on good quality paper, and two smaller black and white images. Slight wear along corners of covers and spine. Some foxing on inside covers and fly leafs. Images are in excellent condition - clear and vibrant. Dimensions: 7 x 5".

There is a dedication on the first fly leaf of the book - printed in ink - that appears to be a dedication by the author to his ancestors, with the author's printed signature (see photo). Other than some very light foxing on the first title page, the book appears to be in fine condition. .

This is an excellent example of the 1963 reprint of the 1941 translation of the Goethe classic. Beautifully bound (see photos) is 'Like New" condition except for a a very handsome unmarked bookplate on the inside front cover. The unclipped dj ($5.95), incased in a transparent cover, is in fine condition A prevous owner had inserted two programs of productions of "Werther" and Mefistofele"

Rare first U. K. edition inexcellent, almost like new condition. The only faults we found were shadowing on the first title page and last page, and miniscle bumping at the top and bottom of the spine. No dj.
