Riverside, CT: Frederick C. Bursch / Hillacre Bookhouse, 1914. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Fine. 16mo. 56pp. First edition thus. Galsworthy's essay in support of women's suffrage, reprinted from "The Nation," London. Bursch, whose presses gravitated towards material of a more radical nature. Cardstock boards with brown wrap-around jacket pasted on at the spine. Paper label on front panel. Front gutter split about 2/3 of the way down from the top; does not affect structural stability at all. Else fine. A remarkable example of this uncommon title, of which OCLC locates only 19 copies.
