Profusely illustrated with B&W photographs, with occasional color photographs. This deluxe edition was offered for sale to the public for $15 per book. Hosted in Los Angeles during the Great Depression of the 1930s, the 10th Olympiad had trouble with athletes being unable to attend due to their financial situation. The Los Angeles Coliseum was built for use during this Olympics and still stands today.
