GOOD / no jacket: some glue residue on endpapers (a former library book? but there are no other markings), spine head is frayed, slightly cocked, corners rubbed, soiling to top page edge and a name written on bottom edge, mostly clean internally with a few scattered smudges.

Condition: GOOD+ with some chipping to cover edges, spine head and tail, light soiling to covers, internally clean and tight excepting a very few foxing stains to title page. A terrific piece of history. Includes information on the Cathedral, The College, St. Cross, King's Castle, Hyde Abbey, Bishop's Castle, City Cross, Westgate, Guildhall, etc. Mention of Jane Austen's monument is on page 11.

A history of The Gulley in South Shaftsbury Vermont starting in 1783 with John Millington through 200 years of ownership including Robert Frost, artist Kenneth Noland, and finally Norman Lear in 1979. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
