The Committee formed in 1951 and created a network of Homophile organizations including Arcadie, One, the Riksförbundet för Sexuellt Likaberättigande Der Kreis and others. It folded in the early 1960s. This issue informs members of some changes in the newsletter which began as a bi-monthly. Also a report on the lottery winners & information on the next meeting in Frankfort.

Suyemoto was born in 1916 in Oroville, and studied English at UC Berkeley. During the war, she was incarcerated with her family at Topaz. She was referred to by Lawson Fusao Inada as "our major Camp Poet and Nikkei Poet Laureate." She passed away in 2003.

Contains several of the finest colorphoto portraits of indigenous people this cataloguer has seen (while going over a large collection of such books).
