The volume has been professionally restored with hinges repaired and re-inforced. . Numerous illustrations in full color and black and white. Free margin of the black and white plate, "Hot cross buns" has a 1" paper loss not extending to the illustration. Occasional soiling and spotting in text. Color plates are quite clean. Several plates have repaired closed tears without paper loss. Frontispiece has a crease and slight chipping at top near spine. All plates are present. Page 11-12 of "A List of the Rhymes" is missing.
