Some minor blemishing to pages, previous owner's inscrip, gilt titling totan leather spine, contents tight, some contemp. annotation, a very good copy. Written in German c.1870.

Illustrated with 16 full page b/w photographic plates as called for, including a frontispiece plate. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Bump to the tail of the spine and the cloth at the head of the spine is a little turned in. Two corners are lightly bumped and two are lightly rubbed. There are a couple of areas of rubbing to the rear paste down measuring about 3 cm x 3 cm and one area to the front paste down measuring 2 cm x 2.5 cm . Scattered light foxing, most noticeabl to the fore edges. Clean and tight. A very good copy.

It probably refers to a light or slight bruise mark to the lower corner of the front board - concealed by the overlying jacket. The jacket has not been price-clipped and remains in super condition. A fresh, clean, tight and bright copy.

Tear of 6 cm to the front of the wrapper and another 1 cm tear from the edge of the wrapper with some associated creasing and lifting of the plastic cover to the wrapper. Shelf wear to the edges of the wrapper. Very neat gift ink inscription to the reverse of the frontisipiece. A little creasing to the edge of the spine, hidden under the wrapper. Vey fresh and clean book. A very good copy.

The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions and illustrations. 4 ghost marks - two to the head and tail of each board caused by strips of sellotape that used to hold a jacket protector. Nonetheless a very bright, clean, very good copy. A light bump to the tail of the spine. The jacket has some spotting to the verso and a little shelf wear to the jacket. A very good, clean, tight flat signed copy.

One corner has a slight nik to the wrapper. Clean and tight. A very good copy.

The book is printed on india paper & is super condition. The plastic cover the book is in has slightly creased corners & the slipcase that protects the book is a little shelf worn in a couple of place with a couple of bumps. The book itself is in excellent condition. A super copy of this bilingual dictionary.

The whole housed in a good plus slipcase which is rubbed to the edges, shelf worn and with a couple of open short tears to the sides - so it has done its job well. A faint but neat former bookseller's stamp to the title page. A well preserved copy complete with card slipcase.
