This is a beautifully illustrated vintage copy of "KATE GREENAWAY'S Birthday Book" with its original dust jacket. I presume the book was published in 1962 based on what I believe to be a date code on the observe of the title page ("1062" = October, 1962). Published by Frederick Warne & Co. in London. The book features full-page color plates and hundreds of smaller illustrations by Kate Greenaway. Each day of the year is accompanied by a poem by Mrs. Sale Barker and an illustration by Greenaway.
