With 26 hand-coloured engravings in plates showing various female dress costumes, and 20 b&w engravings in plates (incl. frontispiece) with tissue-guards, depicting dramatic figure scenes, portraits and landscapes, and a vignette to title page. All plates present (collated). Fair to Good condition overall. Pages and plates generally very good, some browning and marking in places, and staining to some lower margins; the covers are poor however, with frayed spine having no leather left, and the front board (and adjoining prelims) detached (present).
