Description:
n.p. (London), Peter Straub, n.d. (1983), first edition.. 54 loose sheets, photo-copied, printed on rectos only, plus a title page, a page detailing where the poems appeared earlier, a dedication page, and two pages of contents, this typescript was apparently submitted to a London publisher, A. P. Watt & Son for in-house use prior to publication, a rectangular box reproduced on the title page indicates that the typescript came from this publisher, although that box is X-ed out, this was his last book of published poetry, Straub began writing in 1969 and published two other books of poetry in 1972, but he is better known as the author of Julia, Ghost Story, and other gothic horror stories and has combined his talents in the past with another horror master, Stephen King, apparently any publishing deal with A. P. Watt & Son fell through as the book was published only by Underwood-Miller in 1983, these loose sheets measure 8.5X14 inches. Scrape to title page, else fine.
