Nelson. R.F. Moorwood. [1928] Beautiful and striking board book. 11½ x 8½ inches, 14 pp. Front cover illustration of baby girl clutching small yellow Bonzo-type dog. Back cover illustration by Dorrit Wayne of a peg-doll and japanese geisha- type doll having tea-party. 16 full page bold colour illustrations by Moorwood, each with its own title eg Baby Brushes Golly's Hair with a Big Brush. Beige cloth spine. Apart from rubbed edges and corners this is a splendid example of an unusual board book.

Marbled endpapers with stamp of 19th century Oxford bookseller to 1st pastedown. Boards a little bumped at edges, slightly grubby in places. Light occasional scattered foxing to some pages. Good tight copy.
