A superb facsimile of the extremely rare Didot edition of 1798, featuring 20 highly explicit plates showing the erotic play of Graeco-Roman deities and mythological figures (Mars and Venus, Jupiter and Juno, and many more). Includes four superb satyr and faun engravings. 20 plates in all in fantastic detail. A right tour de force, as they say!

Tiniest bit of wear along top of front cover, otherwise a beautiful, fine copy. She was an Amazon, seven feet tall, with a body that wouldn't quit and qualifications that no other girl had. And she was for sale to the highest bidder." Story about a man who creates a rubber doll (for fun and profit) that can do it all! This was later reprinted by PEC in 1966 under the title of "Rubber Dolly".

Small area of surface loss to front cover (from price sticker). Evidence that this originally may have had a cloth taped spine but it has been removed. Still a very good copy. Smoke 'em if you got 'em! Greenwood (1912-1987) was a professional magician from the Northwest known for his slow motion cigarette and billiard ball manipulation and sleight-of-hand with cards, thimbles, coins and silks.
