Two-color pictorial endpapers; 16 full-color plates and two-color textual illustrations throughout. Corners and spine ends worn, cloth covering outer hinges heavily rubbed, cloth a bit soiled with some spotting to front cover. Some light internal handsoiling, else a generally clean, tight copy. Quite rare!

Color pictorial endpapers; color illustrations on every page. Spine ends a bit worn, corners rubbed, else a clean, surprisingly bright copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (sunned, light edgewear). With a bookplate signed by the artist, Leonard Weisgard, laid in!
First edition. The first collaboration from the team behind 1947 Caldecott Medal-winning book The Little Island, issued eight years before Brown's most famous work, Goodnight Moon, was published. A simple, vibrantly illustrated tale of all of the sounds that a little dog encounters around his neighborhood. Fascinatingly, this book technically has no title page, using the cover instead to present the title, author, artist, and publisher.

[McLOUGHLIN BROTHERS]. Nursery ABC Book. [NY: McLoughlin Brothers, ca. 1908]. 4to, [8]pp. Color pictorial linen wrappers. 6 full-page color illustrations and numerous smaller two-color illustrations. Light rubbing to wrappers, some "bleed" of illustrations through the "linen" paper, else a remarkably clean, bright copy.
Early printing. A wonderful linen picture book from the renowned publishing firm McLoughlin Brothers, a leading publisher in children's books from the mid-nineteenth through early twentieth century. This early alphabet book features wonderful, humorous rhyming couplets highlighting a different animal for each letter, all printed on glossy linen sheets.

A commemorative program from the World Premiere of Nutcracker: The Motion Picture in 1986 featuring a letter of invitation from Atlantic Releasing Corporation, Crown Publishing, and Books of Wonder congratulating the recipient on receiving 2 tickets to a "special limited engagement" screening of the movie at the Ziegfeld Theatre. The cover of this special commemorative program features artwork by Maurice Sendak that appeared on the cover of the book Nutcracker, as well as four still images from the film.
