Work on the mounds started in 1933 by the Civil Works Administration, with most of the systematic exploration of the mounds and surrounding sites actually being performed by the Works Progess Administration and the Civilian Conservation Corps. The city of Macon purchased the land and gave it to the national government which declared the area the Oculgee National Monument in 1936. 58 pages, with maps of the town layout, illustrations, b&w photos of artifacts and the excavation area. Book is clean and tightly stapled, with excellent color to the cover, no soiling or marking to interior or exterior.

A very nice copy of an uncommon publication providing information on the oldest section of the Bosque Bello Cemetery (thought to have been established in 1798), and is the only complete listing of the headstones in that section and mapstheir precise locations. The first 42 pages list the families and individuals interned in that section and the next 54 pages are index maps laying out the locations of the plots. A very well cared for copy of the history of one of Delaware's oldest churches from its founding in 1708. One of the members of the committee to collect subscription for the church building was Thomas McKean, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. This copy has a very slight slant to the spine. otherwise is clean and bright, with bright silver lettering to the front and spine. No markings, darkening or soiling to interior. A well researched and detailed history, with many b&w photos, footnotes, and 12 appendices. Some of the items included in the appendices are: Names mentioned in Records to 1898; 1895 Cemetery List, and lists of all kinds mentioning people associated with the church. Dust Jacket has some very light rubbing, and just a tad of light shelf wear at the bottom of the jacket, which is covered with a mylar sleeve.
