Winterich, not recorded by Goldstone & Payne, Morrow 69. Fine.

MGM, 1992, first edition.. An advance color film poster for this re-make, 27X41 inches, this is essentially the same poster as the regular release except that it carries only an MGM credit and an "October 1992" date (as in coming in Oct. 1992) across the bottom. Rolled, never folded.

This was Steinbeck's first in his experiments in writing plays, and his most successful, the play eventually reached Broadway and starred Wallace Ford as George and Broderick Crawford as Lennie, the play won Steinbeck the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for best play of the 1937-38 season, Goldstone & Payne A8a, Morrow 73. Aged, else fine in an aged, but clean dust jacket which is at least very good plus.

With the original printed envelope, one of only 100 copies Signed by Stegner, this is the first separate printing of Stegner's first article in "American West" when he became editor-in-chief in 1965, Pfeiffer was the publisher of "American West," he produced this book both to celebrate Stegner's 80th birthday and as a fund-raiser for the Duveneck Family History Room in Los Altos, the book became out-of-print immediately, not recorded by Colberg. Sherman Oaks, Harlan Ellison, 1981, first edition.. 20 sheets, about 4,750 words for this short story that was published in Ellison's Angry Candy, photo-copies, printed on rectos only, the whole stapled with a photo-copied NOTE from the author detailing this typescript's history, Ellison dates the story's origin to 1976, he notes that part of the story was read on a Pacifica radio station in Los Angeles in 1980, the yet-to-be-completed original manuscript was auctioned to raise money for the radio station, Ellison's NOTE indicates that the story was completed in 1981, he says this "is the original manuscript of that completed story," although he goes on to say that he made changes based on the suggestions of fellow writer and friend William Kotzwinkle, he writes, "Though the author seldom revises, Mr. Kotzwinkle's notes contained much of merit, and the author has decided to do additional work on this story.
