The corners of the dust jacket are clipped to be dog-eared but the price is in tact The dust jacket is now in a protective cover with a little rubbing, chipping around the top of the spine and a small tear out of the rear cover.

This copy is signed by the author underneath her photo oposite the dedication page (as the book is printed on heavy stock it is hard to verify that this is an actual signature as opposed to a printed one-see scan). The forward is by John G. Neihardt who lived in the Ozarks for a while doing research. This small book is staple bound and is clean and tight save a PO name, in pencil, on the ffep. he covers are a bit soiled and there are a couple of closed tears and some bumping.
