Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1893 (on title page). 219 pages, 5 1/4" x 8". Overall book = Very good minus. Pages = lightly tanned, square, sharp, tight, pencil marking: "Provincetown, Mass, August, 1894" on first fep (which is loose and laid in), full page inscription and author signature opposite copyright page. Cover is quarter bound dark green cloth on gray cloth boards, with dark green particulars and illustration front, small paste-on label (well rubbed) on spine, corners well rubbed, upper and lower spine frayed. NOTE: Title on cover (both front and spine) is different from that above appearing on the title page. Cover is "The Old Colony Town and The Ambit of Buzzards Bay,"
