Doran monogram under the copyright line, 168 pp., 6 color illustrations (some offsetting to adjoining pages), numerous b&w illustrations, front hinge cracked, a nice copy in a reasonably respectable dust jacket - top and bottom of spine of dj missing about 1/4", chipped along edges, lower rear panel has chip about 1" x 2"; dust jacket is protected in a mylar cover.

Contains 581 pp., frontispiece plus 18 plates in rear, front joint split but not broken, top and bottom of spine have some chipping, red ink stamp on title indicates this had been in the library of the Steevens Hospital (Dublin?) - no other library indications. Front pastedown has old bookseller's engraved label - Grant Bolton & Co., 4 Dame Street, Dublin. Pages are bright and nearly free of foxing.
