Description:
Lipsiae & Martisburgi: various publishers, 1682.. The five works bound together in one volume; small 4to., marbled wrappers. Some foxing and yellowing, old stains and bent corners of first few leaves, clean and very good generally. Woodcut headpieces and tailpieces throughout, some decorative initials. Possibly a Hulse family bind-up, though nowhere so indicated. The works comprise writings by Conrad Hulse, also publications containing congratulatory poems and writings about him, and dedicated to him at the time of his graduation. The first two works are recorded by WorldCat with very few holdings, the third work is recorded only in a facsimile copy; the final two works published in Martinsburg are not recorded, and are rare.

Description:
[San Francisco]: Intersection, 1981. . First edition. Folio. An illustrated poetry broadside measuring 20 X 26 inches. Illustrated by Robert Duncan, this prints an excerpt from PASSAGES. Designed and printed by Wesley Tanner. Limited to 100 copies which were to be hand-colored and signed by Duncan; this copy is neither colored nor signed. Apparently only about 20 copies were actually colored. An attractive broadside, and very uncommon. Despite the French title, the poem is in English. Some tiny blemishes, but a fine copy.

Description:
Finsbury: Eastern Post Steam Printing Works, 1873. . Disbound. 8pp. Self-wrappers. Very good condiiton. A slender pamphlet, on the subject of supernaturalism, and the question of a divine origin of religion. Reprinted from the Eastern Post, a newspaper from the East end of London: "The Eastern Post was a weekly local workers paper in circulation between 1868 and 1938. It was a working mens alternative to other local papers such as the Hackney Gazette (focused on social reform through parliament) and the Hackney Mercury (a Conservative paper). Its readership incorporated local residents from the Hackney, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Poplar and Stepney Metropolitan Boroughs. The Eastern Post was greatly concerned with workers rights with a heavy focus on the unions and labour unrest." This rare pamphlet presents a rationalist view. Not in Worldcat.
