Spine and gold lettering on spine is worn and faded. Including colored portrait frontispiece, 10 colored plates, 7 black and white plates and one folding map at the end. First US edition, large paper issue of 250 copies, numbered 196. The costs for production of the 1926 Seven Pillars meant that T.E. had to produce an abridged edition. Included are several newspaper articles from 1935 about T.E. Lawrence's death placed in book by previous owner.
