One of 475 copies (515 with overrun). The Poetry Quartos was a set of 12 pamphlets (priced at $10 for the set), each containing a new poem by an American poet. The publication was conceived by Paul Johnston, a fine-press publisher from Connecticut. H.D.'s name was not included on the original list, but was submitted by Ezra Pound in his response to Johnston's request.
