Some chipping and curling at the corners. lacking any wraps issued. 44 pp. A highly critical review of Daniel Webster and his then recent speech on slavery, castigating Webster for his apparent calculated effort to remain neutral on the subject. Phillips speaks strongly against slavery, and calls into question the constitutionality of the recent annexation of question. Wendell Phillips was a 19th century abolitionist, known for his oratory skills.
