Little wear, except corner bumps and a little creased top right front corner. Does have some neatly-executed highlighting in text. No previous owner name, etc. Not ex-lib. Not remainder. Top edge is stained for about 1" from right corner inward. Binding firm, no tears, spine has bumped lower 1/4", with slight paper veneer loss, but does not affect any lettering on spine. Minor wear to the book. The jacket has edge wear with some small closed tears and lateral creases, rubbing to the jacket with some attendant color loss. Author's foreword: "This is not an attempt to write a book about the Shakers and their furniture. There are already excellent books which serve that purpose. . . . Rather, this is a collection of measured drawings made to scale and with dimensions and details accurately copied from Shaker pieces which have been in my shop for restoration or reproduction. These drawings and patterns have been accumulated over a period of many years of interest in the woodwork of the New England and New York State Shakers."

New York: Award Books, 1966. First printing. Mass Market Paperback. Good+. Really funny, really good, humorous, and will tickle your funnyy bone! This is an original paperback pubilcation of espionage cartoons. In my humble opinion, parental guidance - perhaps in the form of not allowing your children to read this - recommended. It does have a little bit of wear, the most noticeable being a couuple of small corner creases on the covers. The pages are age toned, as well, and as is typical of almost any 50+ year old mass market paperback.

An historical fiction novel taking place during the Civil War and told from a Confederate point of view. 294 pages, including explanatory matter at the end of the book about some of the liberties taken with history, even though generally efforts were made to keep the novel historically accurate. Tan cloth-covered boards are soiled and there are a few little spots of orange paint or nail polish or something of that sort on the front of the book. Edgewear, bumped corners, spine end wear with minor fraying at the top, old pencilled price and some other small writing in the back of the book on the free endpaper. Pages a little age-toned. Tiny bookstore sticker inside back cover. Binding firm and straight. No jacket. There may be other minor flaws not mentioned here. A rare volume.
