Short tears to head of spine, otherwise clean and unworn, slight internal separation, no loose pages, former owner's name pencilled on front free endpaper. Tipped-in is an intriguing 3 page AUTOGRAPH letter by the author, in which he describes his feelings regarding his book.

Covers lightly rubbed and soiled, tiny puncture through last 10 leaves, abrasion and small hole through dedication page. Six Christmas short stories originally published in the New York World. A scarce title by a former Universalist pastor. This is the original 1911 priinting, not a modern reprint.

Cover and contents are clean and sound, small spot on front cover penetrated to title page with no other damage. A comprehensive guide for the tourist containing complete descrptions of " hotels, institutions and boarding houses, mineral springs, walks,drives, amusements, races, regatttas, excursions, commercial interests." Both maps are in unused condition and book appears to be in unread, well-preserved condition.

Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 126pp. Blue cloth, gilt lettering and decoration, folding map, 2 color plates, numerous engravings. Corners lightly rubbed, contents are clean and sound, binding is tight, former owner's name and date (1875) on front pastedown. The 2 color plates have small dampstains to top margins; no other stains in book, indicating that the 2 color plates were stained before being bound into book. A very well-preserved guide to Saratoga. Book measures 6 x 4 1/4 inches.

Dustjacket has overall staining, some chips to edges and has tear to the foredge fold, but unusual to find with this title. Runkle's best known work is "The Helmet of Navarre".

Spine mildly darkened, little of no wear to cover, endpapers foxed, text is clean, binding is sound. Dust jacket is darkened and heavily worn missing large piece from head of spine and other fragments along edges and folds.

(1851) Brown cloth, gilt vignette on front cover, gilt lettering and decoration to spine, engraved frontispiece and title page plus 45 )engravings in text. Cover lightly worn, gilt is slightly faded, interior is clean with very little foxing, front free endpaper chipped along edge, binding is sound and book is in very nice condition. The text describes 45 different everyday scenes accompanied by an engraved image of each scene, e.g. "A Winter Scene," "The Farmer and his Son," "The Falls of NIagara," "Skating." etc.

Photographs of Wynne's sculptures in various settings in both black and white and in color with brief commentaries. Book is in sound condition and contents are clean, mildly toned. Included with it is a color brochure of "David Wynne in America" a First Retrospective Exhibition of Sculpture at the World Headquarters of PepsiCo Inc., Purchase, New York, a listing of the sculptures exhibited held June 5 through June 30, 1976, a separate listing of the sculptures that were for sale, and a map of the Pepsico campus.
