Hardcover. Very Good. Beautiful copy! Very good/like new. No dust jacket. [all pertinent info on back cover...] Lots of creative ideas, from Victorian elegant to French provincial and bistro to sea side. There is even a salad bowl made from ice!

Hardcover. Fair. Light tip wear and a bit of cover fading. Has a couple of older newspaper clippings included, with associated tanning. One is paper clipped in place, and is from a little later date. Looks more like 40's or 50's ..no date on paper. The page that has paper clip is loose at the top. :{ No date noted for publication of book itself, but illustrations appear to be pre-1930's [even, possibly, pre 1920's] Really nice copy, over all, just has those few issues.

Hardcover. Fair. Good, solid reading copy. Binding is still good and the text pages are clean and unmarked. Ex-library with the usual markings but no spine tag. No dust jacket or flyleaf.

Interior is mostly very clean and crisp, but page 23 has a stain that bleeds through to faintly touch page 25 [obvious on 24] and page 25 is otherwise quite smudged with "painty" finger prints in upper margin. Cover is moderately creased and stained in general with partial price tag and former owner's name as well. It is missing one bottom corner of the back cover and the one near spine is creased and torn. Binding is sound and no other markings were noted.

Unknown Binding. Fair. Is, in general, a nice copy, but has what appears to be a couple of chocolate/coffee stains on bottom edge and long edge of cover and last half of the page edges [mostly non-penetrating]. Clean, solid and unmarked otherwise.

Cigarette odor. Taped repair to spine fold and bottom of front wrap. Wraps creased and somewhat grubby. Interior not pristine, but generally clean, Stapled binding generally sound.

Volume 2 shows some slight staining on the spine that is only visible if one looks closely. The printer's red ink used to color the top of the page edges is uneven on volume 1 and has bled down slightly. The final blank page has the majority of the bleed.

Fair. No library markings, but has had a card pocket removed from inside of back cover at some point. Otherwise a generally clean, sound copy with faint tanning. Back cover has some faint stains. Name and date inside front cover. No other markings noted.
