He tells of his journey, and of how he became a successful trader, his accomodation in a cave on the rocky coast of New Siberia where he lived for over thirty years.Some argue the work to be a hoax, and is a parody of travel/adventure literature by written by Czech satirist Karel Capek (1890 - 1938).
